Naum Katsenelson (1933-2023), a passionate artist since the age of ten, honed his skills under the tutelage of renowned Soviet art masters in Russia. His artwork was exhibited in Moscow, throughout the Soviet Union, and internationally during his teenage years. After graduating from the Naval Academy in Murmansk with a degree in electrical engineering and earning a PhD, Naum taught as a professor until 1991, when he moved to the USA with his family.
Throughout his time in Russia, Naum continuously painted and participated in exhibitions across the Soviet Union, Finland, and Japan. Naum was a signature member of the Colorado Watercolor Society, Kansas Watercolor Society, and Colorado Artist Guild. His works are held in museums, public, and private collections in various countries, including Japan, Finland, USA, Ukraine, Estonia, Israel, and Russia.
Naum Katsenelson's passion for art and dedication to his craft left a lasting impact on the art world, and his legacy continues to inspire artists and art lovers alike.
